Flood hazard and Disaster Risk Assessment for Bago River Basin

This report by Dr. Aung Than Oo, Ms. Khin Si Si Hlaing and Ms. Shwe Pyi Tan who are working in Hydrology branch of irrigation and water utilization management Department show their basic information of study area, Bago Basin. Past flood events during the months of july and august in every year due to heavy rainfall and its lowland area and river characteristics can be comprehended. In addition, introduction of RRI Model and initial setting for flood hazard and agricultural damage assessment can be found out.
