Navigation related Disaster Risk Reduction

This presentation by U Aung Myo Khaing (DWIR) indicate about advantage of inland navigation. In addition, some illustrations of disasters in navigation are also indicated. In the case of Myanmar, transportation of dangerous cargo on the river systems is a risky business and unsafe. The objective of the AIRBM Ayeyarwady Navigation Strategy can be met. Risk Analysis and Recommendations to prepare and develop that risk are involved with some examples.
