​Yangon Declaration - the Pathway Forward: Upscale Innovation for a Water- Secured Asia and the Pacific by Ms. Yumiko Asayama, Manager, Asia Pacific Water Forum at Water Water Day 2018, NayPyiTaw, Myanmar.

One of the key messages is to support the innovative and sustainable financial instruments that generate low-interest lending mechanisms, long-term cash-flow and attractive returns for high-impact water-related investment at multiple levels and scales. The main challenges to implement the goals of Yangon Declaration are capacity building, infrastructure development and water management issues.
