Importance of Early Warning System in Flood Management - Dr Shelly Win

The "Early Warning System" was discussed by Dr Shelly Win, a national DRM-EWS specialist of Fish Adapt project, FAO. Dr Shelly Win pointed out what early warning system is and a brief explanation of the components of the system. Her discussion went into the clear interpretation of the system by reviewing on the case study – Near real-time inundation analysis system for the Bago River Basin. 

This presentation was presented by Dr Shelly Win at Flood Management from Various Perspectives 2021 organized by Myanmar Water Partnership (MMWP), Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Development (IWUMD), Global Water Partnership and The Water Agency.
