In the pilot project, we are establishing an innovative network-driven stakeholder participation process for designing and implementing different types of climate adaptation interventions, based on the social innovation approach from one of the most successful, innovative climate adaptation programs in the Netherlands: Amsterdam Rainproof.
The pilot project is undertaken at the request of the Yangon Region Government and Yangon City Development Committee and jointly funded by the consortium partners, the Yangon Region Government and the Dutch Government (Partners poor Water program).

- As part of the Thaketa Climate Adaptation Pilot Project, mid-point review surveying all over the Thaketa ward-5 community was carried out to asset the level of involvement as of project Phase I (November 2020).

In this survey, there were three focused groups Direct, General and Exposed groups.
1. Direct group includes those who have had frequent contact with the project team including workshops, implementation support, committee members etc.
2. General group includes those who were involved in our Household and Business Survey at the beginning of the project and some of the previous programs for example, IDoNation donation survey/program as a support to the vulnerable community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
3. Exposed group includes all other residents of Ward 5.
On 6th-9th January 2021, the survey was performed through on-site survey as well as phone calls, led by the local staff from The Water Agency and Doh Eain together with the help of the volunteers.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully.
