This concept of a focus on “Water in the City” involves bringing together interested colleagues to share their knowledge and experiences on building a more resilient approach to water management. This approach was seen to be a timely activity to fill gaps in shared knowledge and better build the capacity and experience of local Myanmar professional colleagues with a genuine interest and passion to advance and share in the collective knowledge that is available.
In choosing Water in the City as an overarching theme, the idea is that a mix of issue from river transport, flooding, urban design and ecosystem services can all be initial topics considered under this broad umbrella – a htee city.
There were different opportunities to gain some feedback and I would like to share some of the highlights with you.
