One month until kicking-off the Myanmar Water Challenge

​​The count-down has started – after a successful and exciting engagement day in August we are now ready to start the second edition of the Myanmar-Netherlands Water Challenge.

Next month more than 40 students from 13 different Myanmar universities will actively participate in the 3 day 'Water in the City' and 'Smart Port' program. The students will be engaged in content-workshops, fieldtrips, skill-development training, team-building and guest-lectures of (inter)national speakers:

  • Tuesday - Opening, Introduction to water challenge by experts and team-building
  • Wednesday - Field trips to relevant locations in partnership with experts of YCDC and MPA
  • Thursday - Group work on conclusions, preparations presentation, Grand Final, networking event

The Challenge will take place from October 30, 31 and November 1st on different locations across Yangon. On the last day the 'Grand Final' will take place, where the students present their findings to a jury with representatives from the Myanmar water sector.
