Wrap Up of Myanmar - Netherlands Water Challenge Engagement Day
Myanmar – Netherlands Water Challenge engagement day was held on 1 August, 2018 at the Dutch. 44 students from 13 different universities joined the event. Wouter Jurgens, the Dutch Ambassador, contributed the opening speech. He underlined the importance of future generation's involvement and the essence of collaboration for the water sector. Aung Myint Oo, Water resources officer at the embassy, gave a presentation about the Myanmar-Netherlands Water Partnership.
The students were divided in 6 groups for an assignment. Each group received an assignments and managed themselves as a team to prepare a field trip together with the guidance of coaches (water experts). Then, the students returned to the embassy and presented their assignments to the audiences.
