Campus Tour of Myanmar - Netherlands Water Challenge in Myanmar Maritime University (MMU) Day 1

​18 June 18 - Campus tour of Myanmar - Netherlands Water Challenge 2018 has been started in Myanmar Maritime University. More than 50 students from Myanmar Maritime University and Thanlyin Technological University joined the campus tour and participated actively during the workshop session. Expertise from Dutch companies introduced to the themes: "Smart Port" which is focused on port development and "Water in the City" which is based on urban water management and shared their knowledge to the students. During the workshop session, students were guided by lecturers and facilitators from Arcadis and Royal Haskoning DHV.

Mr. Rob Steijn from Arcadis  shared his water-related experience and highlighted the important role of future young generation in water sector. 

Mr. Aung Phyo  Kyaw from Royal HaskoningDHV explained how smart port benefits economy of the country and share the examples of smart ports. 



Mr. Frodo van Oostveen presented Myanmar - Netherlands collaboration in water sector and introduced water challenge program.
