Ayeyarwady – Murray Darling Basin twinning relationship

This presentation by Prof. Dr. Khin Ni Ni Thein (secretary NWRC Advisory Group) and Tarek Ketelsen (Myanmar Coordinator, Australia Water Partnership) shares interesting insights about the Ayeyarwady – Murray Darling twinning relationship; a basin-to-basin partnership to support the sustainable management of the Ayeyarwady River Basin. They share experiences from their processes of planning, utilizing, conserving and managing their national rivers (science, policy, consultations). It also includes a program of capacity building and institutional strengthening.
