Virtual workshop: What will you do with water data?

Virtual workshop: What will you do with water data?

Source: UN Water - The workshop 'What will you do with water data?' is hosted virtually on 23 February at 8 – 9 am ET.

The World Bank works closely with partners to achieve its vision of "A Water-Secure World for All" centered on three interrelated pillars: sustain water resources, deliver services, and build resilience. Released a year ago, the World Bank Water Data hub and apps offer a global resource for water-related open data that enables evidence-based operations.

Through the UN-Water Integrated Monitoring Initiative for Sustainable Development Goal 6, the United Nations supports countries in monitoring water- and sanitation-related issues and compiles country data to report on global progress towards SDG 6. The UN-Water SDG 6 Data Portal brings all the United Nation's data on water and sanitation global indicators and other key social, economic and environmental parameters into one place.

This workshop is a joint effort by the World Bank Water Global Practice and the Global Water Security & Sanitation Partnership (GWSP), and UN-Water.
