Water supply facilities in MraukU Tsp benefit over 30,000 residents

07 Dec 2020 - Source: Global New Light of Myanmar - Drinking water supply faciliites in MraukU Township completed benefiting over 30,000 people from over 5,700 households in the township.

The township's MraukU Township Department of Rural Development said in 2019-2020 financial year, it constructed seven lakes and seven tubewells with the use of the budget allocation from the Union Budget, several facilities including two lakes, two tubewells, establishing fence around the lakes, building four water storage tanks, water supply system and one intake tower with the use of the budget allocation from the Rakhine State Government.—Tin Tun Oo
