Rural roads, water supply projects to be implemented in 4 villages of Myeik
17 NOV 2020 - Source: Global New Light of Myanmar - Two roads for rural commodity transportation, one concrete bridge, five box culverts and two water supply projects will be implemented with the fund of Myeik Township's Department of Rural Development for 2020-2021 financial year.
U Kyaw Win Naing, the township DRD officer, said that the budget for the rural road is K108.52 million in Lut Lut village, K31.180 million for paving rocks on the road, K12 million for construction of a 10-ft concrete bridge, K12.040 million for two box culverts, K 52 million for paving rocks on the rural road in Thabya village and K18 million for three box culverts. The water supply project for Mayinngal village will be done with K18.61 million and for the Wunmal village with K41.33 million. The rural roads in Lut Lut village and Thabya village could be used for transporting the agricultural produce from 900 acres for cultivation land and 20 acres of rubber to the local markets.
