Sarchaung Bridge in Tamu District collapsed due to heavy rain

1 Nov 2020 - Source: Myanmar Digital News - Torrential rain hit Myothit, Tamu District, Sagaing Region and it caused the Sarchaung Bridge near Thanan village to collapse this morning.

The bridge which is on the Tamu-Sati Road is 35 ft in length. Due to the heavy rain, the bridge approach slab was destroyed. No casualties were reported in the incident.
