DRD, UNICEF target nearly 4,000 hand wash basins countrywide

16 April 20 - Source: Global New Light Of Myanmar - The Department of Rural Development and the UNICEF have set up 3,520 hand wash basins, out of the planned 3926 units in 2,798 villages of 162 townships in Myanmar.
The state department and the UN agency have put the hand wash basins into places of public areas such as village markets, religious sites, healthcare centres and bus terminals, in addition to distributing awareness posters, supplying water and hand wash soaps and maintaining these materials.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
