French team makes documentary about ‘Life of Ayarwaddy River’ in Mandalay

25 Jan 20 - Source: Global New Light Of Myanmar - Crew of Step by Step Production TV channel from France shot youths undergoing training at the 'Bamathway Myanmar traditional lethwei club' in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Region as well as scenes of Gawein jetty yesterday.

The crew also made a documentary about the Mingon Temple, Gawein Jetty and nearby villages along the Ayeyawady River bank on 23 January. The team will go through to film the Wema elephant camp in Bhamo Township, Kachin State on 25 January; Yandabo Village in Myingyan Township and people's livelihood and customs of villagers living along the Ayeyawady River. The documentary consisted of scenes of livelihood and customs of Myanma people along the Ayeyawady River will be broadcast on the title 'Life of Ayarwaddy River' of Step by Step Production TV Channel.—Nyein Ko (FDC)(Translated by TTN)
