Why would your future look like?
I chose to attend Myanmar Maritime University because I want to be a marine engineer. Besides, it has a good communication with abroad such as Japan, Korean, Singapore. And, it has good opportunity to join with other Maritime University. Moreover, it is the one in Myanmar and I am proud of myself because of uniform which is so smart and international style.
There are seven subjects in Myanmar Maritime University. In those, River and Costal Engineering is the most I like best. I think this subject is very interesting. Because this subject is based on civil engineering. Its specialization is to complete the industrial training in Directorate of Water resources and Improvement of River system to attain field experience.
We will hope ourselves to handle the deficiency of river basin management and coastal zone management by our qualified river and coastal students.Ei Myat San (2nd year)
The person who doesn't have any aims in life looks like a boat without oars. I'm a teenager and I have a long - term goal and a short - term goal. So I think my future journey would be relevant to both goals. Firstly, I would like to tell you about my short – term goal. It is to pass the second year with distinctions and a good grade. To achieve this goal, I have to try hard and I have to concentrate properly on my subjects. My long- term goal is to get a good job which would be relevant to my degree in a foreign country. Therefore, I think I will work as my passion, I will study my work continuously and I will look after my parents absolutely.
Otherwise, if I have a chance to study abroad, I would like to study about Designing & Developing Object-Oriented Programming. Because I'm really interested in it and I really want to be a master in this field.
To sum up, I can't tell about my future exactly but I can tell that I'm sure I will satisfy my future work.

River and coastal engineering are important!
In River and Coastal Engineering, it reduces the impacts and risks associated with coastal hazards such as hurricanes and tsunami. It restores the natural sand supply to the shoreline and sand transport pathways along the coastal zone where it has been impacted by human activities. That is why it is very crucial. There are many opportunities and chances of jobs and it is suitable not only for boys but also for girls. For these reasons, RC is one of the best majors in Myanmar Maritime University.

Why would your future look like?
I am Hsu Myat Kyaw, who studying River and Coastal Engineering in Myanmar Maritime University. It is not my intention to be in MMU. But however I am now fourth year senior student and I will be a graduated person soon. Actually I am not very studious student in school. I just make my university life meaningful. I just passed the exam with normal grading. But I participate in many activities like football, badminton, group project, field trips, etc. and try to be happy in the university. So I don't think my future will be bright with offers and opportunities. I need to try so hard to get a job for my living. I think, I should try to join DWIR for some experience and later I will try to get scholarship from China or Korea Universities to study Environmental engineering. The above is my first plan related with MMU degree. The second one is that I already have the diploma of Business in IT by NCC Education of UK. After graduated from MMU, I may be studied for degree of business IT and then I will be in business and IT related environment. Then go to Japan and try for MBA. I have my plan to get at least two degrees before 25. That is so much for a person like me, the easy going one but it is good to have great expectation. So, I don't know exactly what my future will be but I will try as much as I can to get good future and be a proud daughter for my parents.
Why do you choose to attend Myanmar Maritime University?
I passed my matriculation examination in 2015 with little high marks. At that time, I did not know what I want to be. But, the one thing I know myself was that I interest in physics, drawing, and maths. So, I decided to enroll in some Technological University. The first choice of mine was Yangon Technological University and the second was Myanmar Maritime University. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to attend Yangon Technological University. So, the last chance was to attend Myanmar Maritime University. Now I am
Why did you choose to attend Myanmar Maritime University?
After we passed the Matriculation Exam, we made a decision to become our dreams come true. Firstly, I had no idea for my future and I can't choose what university I would attend. And then I eventually had two choices to attend about management and business or about engineering. Among them, I prefer engineering to management because I like calculating. Unfortunately, my marks were not enough to attend YTU so I chose to attend Myanmar Maritime University. There are seven majors, Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Naval Architecture, River & Coastal, Port & Harbour, and Marine Mechanical, Electrical engineering. Boys can attend to all majors and girls can attend the last five majors. All majors are crucial and essential. They are not only useful in navigational fields but also in civil and electrical fields. After investigating about all majors, I really interested in civil engineering so I chose to attend River and coastal engineering. From this major; we can study statics, hydraulics, fluids, survey, transportation, geology
