More than Ks 300 billion to be spent on roads, bridges, power and drinking water

03 April 19 - Source: Eleven Myanmar - More than Ks 300 billion will be spent on roads, bridges, power and water in Yangon Region for the financial years of 2018-2019, according to the budget data of 2018-2019 FY.

The budget data of 2018-2019 FY indicated that Ks 157,235.344 million would be spent on roads and bridges, Ks 22,906.352 million on electric power, and Ks 151,950.096 million on drinking water, totaling Ks 332,091.792 million.

The East District will spend Ks 30,308.566 million on buildings and renovation of roads and bridges in Yangon Region during this financial year, the West District on Ks 16,954.376 million, the South District on Ks 60,168.189 million and the North District on Ks 49,804.213 million, totaling Ks 157,235.344 million.

The East District will spend Ks 1014.582 million on carrying out tasks for electric power in Yangon Region during this financial year, the West District on Ks 207.167 million, the South District on Ks 8,246.394 million and the North District on Ks 8,335.884 million, totaling Ks 22,906.352 million.

Similarly, the East District will spend Ks 5,375.345 million on carrying out tasks for drinking water in Yangon Region during this financial year, the West District on Ks 1,715.850 million, the South District on Ks 1,572.351 million and the North District on Ks 2,436.650 million, totaling Ks 11,100.196 million.

Yangon Region spent Ks 122,558.845 million on roads, bridges, power and drinking water in six months of 2018.
