Information flood for Young Water Professionals

​The government of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency [RvO] are glad to have re-engaged with the Young Water Professionals [YWPs] programme. The programme, consisting of modules related to water management, aims to professionalize the new generation of water experts at Union level. The first Dutch module of the year 2018-2019 has been developed by Arcadis and has taken the YWPs to Nyaungdon to learn more about flood management. By taking samples, measurements and surveys in the field, the YWPs have a good basis for analyzing and mapping future flood risks. We hope that the YWPs take these new experiences and contribute to a flood risk proof Myanmar!
