Second day of Myanmar - Netherlands Water Challenge 2018 Group Picture in front of Yangon Water Bus

​The students were waiting in front of Botahtaung port to take Yangon water bus which is one of the enjoyable element in Yangon. Holding roadmap and taking a picture in front of it and they were excited to step onto the water bus. For the second day, they went an excursion to Myanmar Industrial Port, Wastewater Treatment plant and Sewage System in Yangon.  The distinguished guests from Royal Haskoning DHV, Van Oord and Embassy of the Netherlands come along together with students and share their experiences. 

U Kyaw Wunna from Myanmar Port Authority (MPA) explained about smart port development and training program for staffs.

 Daw Tint Tint Lwin from Tint Tint Myanmar encouraged the students to be more proactive in real life and gave inspiration for entrepreneurship.

Leonld Gavrilchik from Royal Haskoning DHV mentioned Jetty Design 3D using Hololens Virtual Reality (VR). 

After that, they visited Yangon sewage system which is an antique building and inspired resilient system and Wastewater Treatment plant to explore more about wastewater treatment technology in Yangon.

With regards to the field trips, students required to wrap up their assignments based on their perspective points of view, perception and foresight. Therefore, the second day of Myanmar - Netherlands Water Challenge was ended up on the Vintage Luxury Yacht Hotel with not only joy and excitement but also of course, willingness to proceed next stage of their assignments.
